Aqle and her 4 kids were among the Afghan returnees from Iran that arrived in Islam Qala this week. She went to the UNFPA clinic at the zero point to make sure she and her baby are fine. "It is a difficult situation but we have to accept and deal with it,” she says with optimism.

In drought-hit Takhar, Bibi Nooria gave birth safely thanks to a Mobile Health Team supported by @UNCERF & Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund. A record $16.6M - $6.6M from CERF & $10M from AHF - is now helping protect maternal health in drought-affected areas.
