In Birao 🇨🇫, I met Sudanese refugees who fled war to find safety, and internally displaced persons fleeing clashes in the same area. They’ve lost everything – yet still speak with kindness, courage and hope. The people of CAR show what true solidarity looks like. 💙

In 2024, supported by @UNCERF, @UNFPA & partners provided lifesaving assistance to drought-affected communities in Omaheke, Kavango East & West. This included cash vouchers for GBV survivors, support for shelters, dignity kits & sexual & reproductive health services outreaches.
