I don’t understand why Notre Dame wants the ACC to treat it like a full member of the ACC. Notre Dame football is very much not a member of the ACC. If you want the benefits of being in a conference — including the conference politicking on your behalf — join the conference.
Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua told @dpshow ACC did “permanent damage” to Fighting Irish’s relationship w/ACC. Earlier this morning the school announced Bevacqua would hold a Tuesday press conference at noon ET

I was more impressed with the Bears in that second half comeback that fell short then I've been in about a 1/2 dozen of their wins this season.

Making the Committee Members rewatch the game is hysterical.
Hunter Y. tells ESPN that Miami and ND were "almost equal" and it took them being side by side to flip the teams. (So much for quadrant thing he said earlier.) Committee members were asked to watch Miami-ND game again.

If we go with “it happened back in August” argument, could you please add when the games should count? Mid-September? October? When? Because if it’s just warm-ups for 3 or 4 weeks, we should probably clarify that before the season.
Take a deep breath ... as angry as you might be right now about the College Football Playoff, channel it correctly Alabama lost to Florida State 31-17, and got rocked in the SEC Championship yesterday, and it didn't matter Notre Dame got "punished" for losing to Miami in August

Regardless of your thoughts on Alabama, Miami, or Norte Dame, can we all agree giving participation-trophies to James Madison and Tulane is, at best, embarrassing?

Alabama should still make the College Football Playoff even with a loss to Georgia ... no matter the score. The Crimson Tide played their way into the conference title game of the toughest conference in the country. It can't be penalized for playing its way into a loss.

Also "let's just remove turnovers" is a bit silly. Clearly if you removed the best aspect of any defense they aren't going to look as good.

Anybody who has watched the Bear defense would agree, it's a complete train wreck outside of the turnovers. TBF they've had to play multiple games missing CB1, CB2, CB4, LB1, LB2, LB3, and DE2. Most (but not all) are those players are getting healthy, we'll see what happens.

I always love high school highlights of the kid going to a D1 school playing against everybody else - a foot taller, 50 pounds of pure muscle heavier, and more speed than anybody else out there. Like Bo Jackson in the original Tecmo Bowl. Congrats to all signees today!
