SCORE MORE POINTS?. I feel like during the recruiting process players and parents feel this immense pressure to score points bc they know that the more points they score the better chance they have to be seen. Scoring will increase your chance of being seen/talked about. That

I think basketball will be the first to go private. The AAU circuit in place of high school basketball is the wave of the future IMO unfortunately. Transfers, reclassification, recruiting, rankings, etc. All of it has trickled into HS hoops.
According to the NFHS the fastest growing high school sport for girls is flag football. It saw a %173 increase in participants in just 3 years. The fastest declining sport is basketball with a loss over 6,000 participants in just one year.
