In light of the announcement made by Boris Johnson yesterday, ULHT breast screening services are continuing as normal. If you already have an appointment booked at either Lincoln County Hospital or Pilgrim Hospital your appointment will still be going ahead.

As it’s #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth here are some of the signs to look out for when doing your breast checks. If you notice any of these signs please contact your GP as soon as possible.

Breast screening appointments are primarily being carried on the mobile units situated at both hospital sites(Lincoln County and Pilgrim Hospital). Unless having stated otherwise when booking your appointment. Please read your letter to check the venue and the map for directions.

Ladies aged 50-70 in the Long Sutton area will be invited to the Boston Mobile Breast Unit located at the Long Sutton Medical Centre. Look out for you invitation, if you can’t attend your appointment please call the office to reschedule.

The Lincoln County mobile breast screening van has recently moved to Horncastle at the Stanhope Hall. If you’re due for your 3 yearly mammogram look out for your appointment through the post. Ladies over 70 please contact the breast unit to get booked in. #breastscreening
