Out at last in @BloodJournal!! https://t.co/ZMZzfzmSUU So very proud of @nsarellano9 and team! Nicole conceived of this project as a 19 year old undergrad in my brand new lab, and 6 years of (literal) blood, sweat and tears later, here she is in all her glory!
How it started (undergrad who thinks grant writing is fun๐ค) vs how itโs going (A PAPER IN BLOOD๐ฉธ!) excited to share the FULL ATF6 story with the world! Thank you to my amazing co-authors and mentor @TheElfLab for helping my six year long dream come true! https://t.co/hArUnguTo9

So excited to finally see my PhD work from the #GajewskiLab published in @jitcancer ! This work supports a notion that our lab has been increasingly interested in: can loss-of-function SNPs associated for autoimmunity be a new source for novel checkpoint blockade targets? 1/n

It was wonderful listening to Dr. @juliamaxson speak about epigenetic dysfunction in leukemias today. After the seminar, CCB graduate students joined Dr. Maxson for lunch and learned to not let fear get in the way of trying. Thank you for your talk, mentorship, and wise words!
