Went to Palestine Camp at SOAS. Students held a moving tribute to journalist Shireen Abu Alekh on anniversary of her murder by IDF. I attended her commemoration service 2 years ago as Secretary of the NUJ Parliamentary Group. Now 140 journalists bern killed in Gaza since October.

Staff in Goldsmiths College, UoL, were told yesterday their employer wanted to make ๐ญ๐ฏ๐ฌ academic FTE staff redundant (i.e. >130 staff, as many are part-time). Our union @UCU thinks this could equal ๐ฎ ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ of all academic staff! โค๏ธRush solidarity to @GoldsmithsUCU!
