A few weeks ago we attended #UCCE Grazing School hosted by @flyingmulefarm where we learned all about forage and pasture management, fence building techniques, and animal nutrition - not just for #cattle but for #sheep too! 🀠

Youth and community members participated in the @4HSutterYuba "Color Me Green” 5K Run/Walk. The event presented a learning opportunity for improving their #health through a fun event. Why the green? Participants were showered with green dye to mark every mile. @UCRECSierra

Scientists from @ucdavisvetmed continue a study on pink eye in cattle. Here, a foxtail is carefully removed from a cow’s eye (these can cause ulcers that lead to pink eye). The vet used a fluorescent eye wash, which did not stain the eye green - indicating no current infection πŸ‘
