I had more fun with it than I thought I would, was janky in a few places and had a few crashes but overall it’s a solid boomer shooter with an obvious anime twist to everything. If you like both this is well worth your time!

The thematic overlap I'm seeing with this tweet is that the people labeling this as bad and juvenile writing are also the same people who have not read this book. Comparing the Monogatari series to BookTok is an insane and incredibly uniformed take that I cannot overstate.
This is the kind of thing you can only get across with text, this alone made reading the book worth it
