The rain is welcome, even with a side of hail.

Hydroseeding is a great tool when establishing turfgrass, especially in dry conditions like Ohio’s. It was recently used on campus, and while germination is slow due to the drought, the seed is protected from displacement. Fingers crossed for rain soon!

NEW DROUGHT MONITOR 62% of Ohio is now in a moderate drought or worse. I ran the numbers for rainfall totals for Columbus from June 1st through today's date, September 5th. This year is the #1 driest stretch, since we records started in 1878. https://t.co/f7CyAmxJq8
