After MLB took the All-Star game away from the Atlanta fans, it felt great to bring the World Series and the Commissioner’s Trophy to Atlanta. Baseball is a place where people can come together and cheer for something. It shouldn’t be used as something to drive people apart.

Pitchers are so good today they have to change rules to try and even the playing field. Pitchers see the technology available to them and learn to use it. Most pitchers today have at least some understanding on fluid dynamics. That wasn’t the case 10+ years ago.

In order for the NFL to keep the best players from seeking greener grass in other leagues the NFL must provide for the players. Hard to compete with MLB while they’re exempt from these anti monopoly laws. They know this and is why they have set up a lobbyist office in DC.

This also effects the fans, when there is less competition in the market (baseball teams in city) then the owners can then spike ticket prices knowing the only place to be entertain by baseball is to pay they’re price. This hurts the game and it’s draw to new fans.
