It's Bi+ health awareness month, & despite making up a majority of the queer community (54.6% in new Gallup poll), bisexual people have poorer physical & mental health outcomes than gay & lesbian people. LGBT+ organizations should allocate resources accordingly.

One of the many reasons why is that Bi+ people often end up in situations where it feels “easier” to stay closeted, creating a unique mental health challenge. Some doctors & therapists are aware of these issues, but many are not and unfortunately reinforce this repression.
