I interviewed for a LO and oh my good god. They’ve underperformed over a 1/3/5/10 year horizon and I asked what they bought in 2022: ORCL and “didn’t have time to get comfortable with anything else”.
Lesson learned: have a better poker face

I need to do a much better job at taking care of myself when I’m exerting max effort at work. It’s like I subconsciously punish my body as the trade off - no exercise, caffeine vs water, take out vs healthier alts + less sleep. Bad habits tough to kick but this isn’t sustainable

Common theme I’ve been hearing from checks is the increase scrutiny on renewals. It’s not only net new products needing to demonstrate sufficient ROI, it’s also contracts up for renewal that need to prove their value. Can see it net retention trending down across the industry
