Our news centre has received reports that dancehall entertainer Gully Bop has died. It is reported that Bop, whose given name is Robert Lee Malcolm was admitted to the Kingston Public Hospital for some time before his passing.
Reggae musician and founding member of Reggae band Third World, Michael ’Ibo’ Cooper, passed away at age 71. He was also a member of the pop band Inner Circle. He was ailing for sometime.
Ibo lost his wife Joy and son Arif this year.

A JDF helicopter has been sent to rescue a group of motorists who have been stranded at Hordley Crossing in St. Thomas following heavy rain in the area.
The group has been stuck since 6pm on Thursday.
A coaster overturned on Spanish Town Road.
It's reported that the bus was traversing along Simon Taylor off Spanish Town Road, when the road caved-in.
No one was injured.

Nationwide News Network's offices were just attacked by gunmen. The station's Deputy Executive Editor George Davis reported the attack in a breaking news item shortly after 4:30pm. NNN stated that three shots were fired in the station's parking lot at its Bradley Avenue compound.

A motorist was killed in Spanish Town after a container fell on his vehicle, crushing it. The mishap occurred in the vicinity of the Grace Kennedy Distribution Centre on Salt Pond Road around 2:30. the car was exiting the compound and the truck was entering when tragedy struck.
