Got a workspace table and chair as gift when I moved to my new place. Someone else sent money. Another one paid for my feeding for my first week settling in. Got lots of kitchen stuff as well. I have the best people around me and Iβm super grateful for all of them.
If your friend just moves into a new house, I feel it's thoughtful to buy the essentials for the new house in a way to celebrate with them. Maybe a workspace table and chair, sofa, or even mattress.
