We provide education for medical providers. Our program, See me, Hear me, Treat me utilizes people impacted by addiction as panelists to educate providers. Here are the outstanding evals from a recent training. So exciting to see these "I will" statements from #Doctors & #nurses!

Truth Pharma is a group that highlights overdose deaths. Organizers were in Chicago this week for the DNC and to press politicians on a crisis that kills tens of thousands each year.

I talked to Alexis Pleus, founder of advocacy group Truth Pharm, outside the DNC. Her son died of a heroin overdose 10 years ago.

Grassroots groups nationwide fight for opioid settlement money, as the SHOULD. We're no longer standing by while our blood money continues to be wasted, spent inappropriately and NOT funding OUR work!

We had great success pushing back against this Big Pharma money grab and Broome Sheriff's desire to make people with SUD suffer by involving the @NewYorkStateAG! She issued a cease and desist letter over OpVee usage! Big win for people struggling with OUD

We stand in solidarity w fellow Americans & advocates like @homeless_law who are outraged by today’s ruling. Like criminalizing people who use drugs (PWUD), criminalizing people for sleeping in public will fail because it doesn’t address root causes of why people are homeless.

Plans would have provided billions of dollars to help address the nation’s opioid crisis while protecting the family that owns Purdue Pharma from future lawsuits.

When addiction medicine doctors started to come after safe supply, we said that what they’re doing is going to cause greater harm. And then the attacks on harm reduction began to grow. And with those attacks the right grew more interest in what we were doing to save lives.

I'm grateful this is coming out just in time for my son's heavenly birthday. Lack of transparency still clouds billions in opioid settlement money going to states. We must all come together and demand accountability for every dollar.

I’m at a Public Health Conference and learned that @BroomeSheriff is breaking state law by dispensing OPVEE to reverse overdoses. He’s also requiring officers to practice medicine with a medical degree or license. Will @TishJames let our Sheriff know he’s not above the law?

At the NYS Public Health Officials Conference a speaker mentioned “a horrible Upstate NY Sheriff” who decided to start using OPVEE to reverse overdoses. We were like, “that’s our sheriff!” @fredakshar! See our response to his decision here:

This is what a lack of funding looks like. As NY lawmakers make final deals on the budget will addiction, substance use treatment and harm reduction be properly funded, or will they add more deaths to their toll?
