Brent Renaud, an award-winning American filmmaker and journalist, was killed in Ukraine on Sunday. Renaud, who often collaborated with his brother, Craig, was known for highlighting the human impact of war and conflict.

I couldn’t agree more with the enormous praise for the BBC’s correspondents in Ukraine. But getting them on TV, radio, online is a bureau chief, producers, camera crews, engineers, drivers, translators and other production support staff. Without them, there would be no coverage.
