Check out our new website at https://t.co/vtvqjsrqTT - we think we've chosen a fab domain name in the form of "earth" since we believe the planting of trees will help contribute to humankind's adaptation to climate change on the only planet we have - the Earth! #tree #treeplant

This is the sort of initiative we need to look at in aspect's of Guernsey's land management. #rewildGuernsey #biodiversity
In Denmark, the law requires owners of large agricultural lands to plant 5% of the soil with flowers for bees. https://t.co/Q0cwxsVCUn

Where is the outcry? We're heading toward losing our bees and butterflies yet little seems to be done at a government level to reduce and remove harmful chemicals.

BEEKEEPERS are appealing to neighbours to give them a warning if they are planning to use herbicides or pesticides on their land.

Absolutely fantastic Gorse this year great for early pollinators! Remember mow lawns a little less frequently and please don't strim your bank's to within an inch of destruction give nature a chance.

This is happening all over St Peters at the moment surely it's time we worked with Farmers to find an alternative to the destruction of our Biodiversity. Supporting @pollinatorproj in their plea to use less chemicals.

Always disappointed when I see this in Guernsey. Should need Planing permission before installation and be refused!
Please don't replace turf with plastic grass. It: π Offers no food and shelter to wildlife π± Has a high carbon footprint - while real grass captures carbon β οΈ Wears out and ends up in landfill π¬ Sheds microplastics which wash into rivers & the sea π¦ Worsens flooding

What a sad photo it speaks for itself, nothing else to say.

Been pushing this message for years in Guernsey and slowly seem to de getting somewhere but we need to find a sustainable alternative for farmers.
.@DefraGovUK's draft National Action Plan on #Pesticides isn't enough. Farmers must be supported to transition to nature-friendly #agroecological approaches that donβt rely on harmful chemicals π« We need your help π add your voice to our pledge today π£οΈ https://t.co/u1zOXSCt5m
