MRC, with @TransparencyMV and funded by @AusHCMV, held a Basic Psychological First Aid (PFA) training for 26 residents of Hulhumale' last month. The training focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of PFA and strengthening community preparedness.

@TransparencyMV was part of a joint letter urging the Government of Maldives to halt plans to reopen the gulper shark fishery. The proposal risks irreversible harm to endangered gulper shark populations and threatens the livelihoods and industries that depend on a healthy ocean.
