John Donovan wins the 2024 TunnelHill 100 mile race in 12:36:28. Crushing his previous 100 mile best time of 18+ hours. Amazing! He ran a fantastic race. Phil Young gets his 2nd TH 100 2nd place finish to go along with two wins.

Tunnel Hill RD Steve Durbin graciously allows dropping down in races in real time so Taggart technically credited with a 50 mile finish in both 21&23. 2025 TH100 cant come fast enough.

We going to find out soon!! @taggartvanetten never short on confidence. He has a real shot to win the 2025.100 mile race at Tunnel Hill. In 2020 he ran a blistering fast 12:19 for the win at TH in the 100 miler. DNFed his next two Tunnel Hill 100s in 2021 and 2023.
I’m ready for the pressure again. On November 8th I’m going to make an attempt on the 100 mile American Record (11:19:13), see you at Tunnel Hill.

John just passed 88 miles. John has a six minute lead on Phil. Phil is slowly but surely tracking him down. Last 9 miles is slightly down hill and fast! We will have them both here and hopefully a video clip at mile 91.5. It’s rainy and very dark so we’ll see.

day of 5:39:00 a. Phil Young is here 11 minutes behind John yet but hes good at this. He knows the 7-8 mile long slight incline ahead can be too much for some leaders to bear late in the race. Miles 77-85. Remember he won in 2022 when a couple leaders blew up. @PhilYoungIA.
