I’m not defending any racism or violence, but for the last 15 years at least, the British public has expressed concern with the level of illegal migration. Successive governments and prime ministers have utterly failed to tackle the problem, and people have had enough.
Racist graffiti on takeaways. Slurs on bus stops. A nurse racially abused in the park. Every day the far right launch pogroms on hotels housing migrants, fuelled by grifters and amplified by the right-wing press. This hate comes from the very top. But our communities will.

Unpopular opinion but Keegan Bradley should not pick himself. There’s a lot of responsibility as a captain, he can’t possible be fully focused on all that and the intensity of playing matches. He deserves to play and it sucks but that’s the hand he’s been dealt.

Handball is handball, whether it’s on the goal line or the half way line. I hate how many fouls are let go because of the position they happen. So inconsistent.
