Weird to hear comic fans talking about “gimmicks” like they’re a bad thing. It’s pretty simple, talented creative teams regurgitate and reinvent characters to excite the fans in new and exciting ways to sell chapters in an ongoing storyline aka “Comics”
The amount of people calling Knightfall slop on here is absolutely insane. I get if you don't like huge world ending arcs but this was literally a 12 issues of Batman's physical and mental capacity being put to test whilst going against perfectly characterized Bat-rogues

Frankly (no pun-isher intended) I’m not against AI pinup/poster art. I buy hand drawn comics but have no problem with fans experimenting with characters and sharing for free. As if you care about the creators… go to a comic con and rage against the blatant IP theft for sale?
Seeing accounts dedicated to the comic medium posting AI slop that steals from the artists and creators they claim to appreciate is heartbreaking. There's literally 1000s of amazing pics of Frank by real artists. The hardcore fans are supposed to be better than this.

You folks who have followed me for the decades knew this at least in 2009. We are at the precipice of something larger than the collapse of many video endeavors. We are at the precipice of the collapse of “reality” and history. For from this epoch forward nothing is “real”.
When AI videos are just as good as normal videos, I wonder what that will do to YouTube and how it will impact the millions of creators currently making content for a living.. scary times.

Finally happened to me. Aunt & Uncle visiting from North Carolina, and my uncle arrives with a bankers box of comics he had as a kid in the 60's. He's simply giving them to me! More pics to come.... some truly awesome comics in there.
