Out now on biorxiv: We studied the activity of enhancer-blocking insulators in plants and found that they also act as silencers when placed upstream of moderate to weak enhancers.

Our paper on the dissection of three light-responsive plant enhancers is out: My favorite finding: the enhancers rely on suboptimal transcription factor binding sites. This is consistent with the beautiful work on animal enhancers from @EKFarley.
