Sen. Elissa Slotkin went on TV last Sunday and claimed that National Guardsmen were going to start shooting at American civilians. Two Guardsmen have now been wounded after being shot on the streets in DC.

A tornado is a tragedy, this is a murder and the problem isn’t that the National Guard was there for a violent nutjob to shoot rather than even less prepared civilians.
A tragedy. National guard should not be on the streets. They are not trained as police and are ill-equipped for the job being asked of them. They didn't sign up for this.
