Another Fun Fact! When I filmed the first half of Scene 3, I was originally going to have Dane fly and swoop through the air as he stalks Hawin. Most of that footage doesn't exist anymore, 'cuz Hard Drive space, except for this shot, which I saved 'cause it looks so funny.

I saw this movie on my 5th birthday, July 18, 2000. My mom took me to a local train shop near my grandma's house, I got a lot of toys, some movie-tie in stuff, too, and then we saw it. Whatever problems may exist or others might have with it, I will forever love this film.

I admit, I like modern Thomas just fine, but this... This was the Thomas of my childhood. It's so easy for me to get lost in Bell's art. This Thomas was quiet, tranquil, and peaceful, and it gave those things to me as a kid, and I often wish I could relive those times.
