#AMMF’s CEO Dr Helen Morement shared data from the Scottish Cancer Registry revealing #CCA rates are higher in Scotland than in England & increased by over 40% from 2001-2018. This highlights the need to #RethinkLiverCancer & get a #FairerDealFaster for CCA patients in Scotland.

Great to see our article published in @HepCommJournal. Remember to look at basement membrane in your fibrosis studies, especially if working on FXR agonists. Thanks to everybody who helped! @JAFallowfield @TimKendall_Path @EdinUni_IRR @EdinUni_CIR

I've defeated the machine. Escaping past the unclaimed luggage, evidence of broken dreams. I think I saw the last of the high viz man's soul exit his body.

Human creativity at its most fertile though. Not mending the broken gates but in the attempt to get the few semi operational ones to recognise the passport holder. Stern look? Didn't work. Neutral? Nope. Coquettish? Who knows?

No excuse for abuse, they tell us. Plenty of excuses for non-functional IT hardware though.

Not sure what use the high viz clad Edinburgh Airport staff are, waving forlornly in front of the bank of non functional epassport gates are. The looks of self-loathing on their faces.

A clear explanation of AI's voracious thirst for human created content and knowledge. That demand is generating work for human creators, and may never be slaked. Humans are always needed and not replaced. The same may be true of computational pathology.

I f—-ing love this country. 🇬🇧 Steve Bray blaring out “things can only get better” as Rishi stands drowning in the rain is a British comedy moment for the ages. Let’s do ourselves a solid - let’s boot these charlatans out and rejoin our European friends. https://t.co/Ymc8UDXwef

Dr. Tim Kendall from @EdinburghUni asked, "What can we do to maximise what we have?" emphasising the need to use tissue in research. Tissue-derived information is increasingly necessary for personalised treatment #AMMF2024 #LiverTwitter #cholangiocarcinoma
