Murphy has been a part of every moment in me and Sam’s life. I’m sad that my buddy is gone forever, but I’m finding peace in all the love he shared with me, my girls and all our friends. Murphy curled up under the Christmas tree yesterday and passed away, one last unselfish move.

John Clayton will be remembered in so many ways, from how he looked after his wife Pat, to the mark he made in reporting, to the standard he set. He dedicated his life to his wife and to football. He was a pioneer, a caretaker, a Hall of Famer and a slayer, in every sense.
