Our tidy towns and village renewal committee met last night to review progress on the renewal of the village footpaths in Ballyleague ….as you know , we met with our elected councillors here in the village and walked through the street and showed them the trees and paths 1/3

As trees grow, they remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and convert this into carbon to make wood. In the next stage two new seats will go in next beside the big tree library and we will then start a clean -up and first mowing 2/3 @TidyTownsIre.

After years of complaining about a derelict site, we acknowledge plans to remove old filling station in @TidyBallyleague : Pauric called us to confirm the project as part of @EUJTF_ie & say thanks to Linda/Claire/Ciaran at @LeaderRoscommon who say they sent it into @EMRA today
