Cash flow in a business is vital to survival. They had hope of a small reprieve on VAT rate. Today their hope was extinguished.

If they were to close, 40+ would be looking for work. They support every local cause going. They keep a rural village vibrant. And what’s more, 75%+ of staff earn more than minimum wage because they look after their employees.

For the critics. I fully understand how the tax system works. But look at it in context of closures and the pressure business owners are under. This business in particular survives on goodwill of 3 owners who take less than minimum wage in salary just to keep people employed.
