I’m old enough to remember when our Óglaigh na hEireann, Irish Defence Forces guarded the banks with the Steyr AUG & escorted cash patrols in my hometown Carrick-on-Suir in the early 1990s. Even being from this far south, I’ve no sympathy for this brand of “Irish identity”.

Twenty years ago we invaded Iraq. The war killed many innocent Iraqis and Americans. It destroyed the oldest Christian populations in the world. It cost over $1 trillion, and turned Iraq into a satellite of Iran. It was an unforced disaster, and I pray that we learn its lessons.

I agree. I don't think the street names should be changed either. I think the people who put these scum on a pedestal should have to explain why they thought they were worthy of our adoration in the first place.
Possibly rather unpopular opinion, but I don't think Andrew should be removed from the line of succession, because this would imply royal status is somehow linked to virtue, that they 'deserve' their status. It isn't, they don't. It's a bloodline.
