There is an unfortunate underestimation of exactly how talented D'Angelo is. Where modern day soul pianists seem like a withering breed, he breathed so much life into those keys that he gave master pianists chills with the chords he played. If you love music, this moves you.

@DocDre Saw him at the Bomb Factory when he was touring for Black Messiah. Summer. Standing room only. Full lips and round hips everywhere. Scent of weed and black and milds in the air. His performance was effortless and electrifying. Crowd was raucous. He did 3 encores. What a night.
