As much as I know its probably being replaced by a better ride, HRRR closing in 19 days is really hitting hard. Its not a perfect attraction by any means, but its one of my favourite ride concepts ever. Hopefully in the future a spiritual successor to Project Rumble gets built 🤟

Obviously none of these observations are new by any means, but as time goes on and with crowds only getting busier having what feels like 1/6th of the park almost empty feels insane to me.

12:20 at Walliams world on a pretty packed day with ride queues in the 100min range. I really hope Horizon or similar can help with spreading guest flow out a lot more, it's genuinely mad to see so much real estate unutilised

I do find it crazy how desolate the back end of Towers feels currently, its such a vast space with barely anything in it. I really hope that at some point in the future this general area gets the love and care it deserves, its prime real estate for a new unique themed area

Spoke to Bianca a few times while I was working at Towers last year, she always made an effort to make sure the ground level staff were doing well and supported. Definitely going to be a missed presence at towers, she always tried to push for a lot of good changes.

It may be school trip season, but Towers still isn't half bad to relax in. Pretty much the only rides I wanted to do were Hex and Curse, and both are still walk on regardless of crowds. Plus it's nice to just sit and watch rides for a bit with a pint

Just come to the realisation that its been a decade since I first went to Phantasialand, these photos are from July 8th 2015! At the time Black Mamba was the hero attraction of the park, and my favourite ride there was (and still was until F.L.Y) was Talocan

Just as a minor extra to this, personally I still would rather work at a regional park rather than an international destination, but I very much know that's not a common opinion to have amongst most guest facing staff.
It will be interesting to see how many people who will be applying for jobs at Universal Great Britain will have come from Merlin, and how many will be left at Merlin afterwards to run the parks at a guest facing level.

Pin collection after Florida, missing one for Magic Kingdom but should be getting it via other means soon. Pins are definitely my favourite bits of merch you can get, whenever I glance over at them it's nice to think of the memories associated with each of them

Even though I had an amazing time in Florida, it's still great to be back at my home park after all of it! We also definitely take our operations for granted sometimes, most rides today have been running on par with or quicker than some Universal/Disney attractions were

Is it me or does this look wrong? Like they had a whole brand guideline shift last year and its already starting to drift heavily from it to what looks like AI. Sure the signs did need a refresh, but was this the best they could do?.

Day 18: Universal! We hopped between Studios and IOA re-riding stuff and doing rides we hadn't got to yet. Hagrid Bike was great despite the queue, and Popeye's certainly gets you wet! To round off the trip, we finished the day at Bar Helios looking over my new favourite park
