Why do I see so many comments and posts about React CRA? I admit I don't see the big deal. React CRA is an unsupported, outdated product that should have been sunseted years ago. NX and Vite both have react application construction tools. They are amazing.

Recently an engineer told me that I should stop using barrel files (index.ts) because it imports everything even if you are not using it. Does tree shaking not address this. Is this a myth? @mattpocockuk
