This is why ER nurses are the best!
So I ran my first 5K yesterday with some of my favorite ER nurses.. I crossed the finish line and was lowkey kinda bummed because I didnβt see the ones that were supposed to be at the end cheering for us. Turns out they were literally 20 feet away from me coding a patient π

Hearty congratulations to Dr. Joseph Grover (@Jgrover) with @UNCEM and colleagues for receiving this "Carolina Quality & Safety Award" for their ongoing efforts! #EmergencyMedicine #SepsisCare
The same quality improvement concepts apply to both the prehospital and hospital settings. Regular targeted performance feedback can drive improvement. Special thanks to April Glick and Mary Jo Barfield for their tireless efforts to bring our project to fruition.
