So tired of “watching” tv shows that I cannot even see. A full 5-7 minutes straight where I couldn’t make out a face, see a single section of fight choreography, or even know where in the world of the show it was taking place, all because it wasn’t light enough on the screen.

Had my first in-person audition yesterday since the Before Times. There’s an energy, call it fear/excitement/nerves/joy, that can only come from being in the room to perform. Didn’t realize how much I missed that. It was exhilarating. Tapes are great. Rooms are better. IMO

Competitive tax credits are a big deal, but Los Angeles & & other local governments also need to streamline the permitting process & regulations to make it easier to shoot here. Stop treating film & TV as a nuisance when it's a huge economic engine of the region.
