There are currently 2 active COVID-19 cases on campus. 70% of all students have been vaccinated. To date, Davidson has conducted over 77,000 COVID-19 tests.

The COVID response team cites the 5 positive cases on campus, unknown levels of student vaccination, and the desire to keep seniors out of quarantine for commencement as reason for their decision.

This comes after North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper announced today that the state’s outdoor masking requirement would end on April 30.

NEWS from the COVID Response Team: Davidson’s outdoor masking guidance on campus will remain in place through commencement.

There are currently 4 active COVID cases on campus. Thursday 4/29 is the last day of classes. Students will begin departing campus this weekend.
