We’ve revised our demands (originally published Oct 2019) to reflect the changes at Davidson and in the world over the past 1.5 years. With the recent rise in anti-Asian hate crimes, we can no longer overlook the importance of teaching the history of Asian America.

We demand that @DavidsonCollege create an Asian & Asian Diaspora department that builds off of the work that we and other students and professors have been doing for years. Most importantly, we demand that Davidson move towards hiring Tenure Track faculty.
