Realistically, The Smashing Machine was the most notable lasting impact Kerr had. In which case the movie really can’t add a whole hell of a lot.

This is most of it, but it also has to be said that Kerr simply was not THAT fundamental a figure in the development of MMA. He was a very brief flash of remarkable talent, but also the tail end of NHB, rapidly getting left behind by MMA.
the question is: why make a movie about a topic that was already covered well in a documentary 20+ years ago? there are already so few MMA movies as it is; we don't need the redundancy.

Just a less egregious version of Dillashaw’s retirement fight. If you know one fighter is severely compromised going in but let people bet like it’s equal that’s basically fixing.
Not saying that ufc is doing fixed fights, I'm not saying that.. but.. ...w DC knowing of Ank injury yet kayfabeing, Ank knowing, likely Poatan having full knowledge of injury, see him elbowing exact spot, fight comes off as kabuki theartre, not choreographed, but a fait acompli

I'd say UFC has institutionalized a delusional double standard of what "greed" is that the fighters are conscripted into self-administering. Looking at proportions of revenue is considered bougie, instead they ask "is this integer a lot of money?" and convince themselves it is
The info is out there, so fighters shouldn't be in the dark. The problem, based on my experience, is that many fighters just don't believe the numbers for boxers, even when they're confirmed. They find it inconceivable.
