You’re probably wandering why is this in my timeline? Well, it’s because you follow me and I post homesteading stuff believe it or not. This is the best way to test if your Dirt is good to make a pond. take a ball of dirt, rolling into a cylinder and then curl it into a snake.

Beautiful. I spend my days putting orchids and pretty foliage into hospitals and waiting rooms in and very serious dr offices and I always take time to talk to anyone that needs it. Giving hugs and listening isn't hard. It's actually a joy.

My son fixed a pumpkin for the chickens. So far they just aren’t sure what to make of it. He even sprinkled BSFL on it to get them interested. Hopefully they decide to have a taste, I think he will be sad if they say nope.

This bullock hurt his foot and is isolated for a short time whilst he heals. I feel he must be a bit lonely so have given him a bucket to play with and he's having such fun.

In retrospect, it feels crazy that my dad let me run combine when I was home on fall breaks because I don’t know anyone else who let their 19 year olds higher than the grain cart on the proverbial farm ladder. Anyways bring back letting your kids do things on the farm.
