This week the horological world has lost one of the modern day experts in the field of turret clocks. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and everyone in the turret clock world. He was our go to expert especially where Big Ben was concerned.

Work is underway to remove the iconic Chamberlain Clock in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. The 117 year old timepiece is being dismantled for extensive repairs and restoration. It's hoped it'll be put back in place early next year.
