I genuinely don't mean this from an antagonistic angle, but for those who were so adamantly Clearlake out and protesting last season - given absolutely nothing has changed in terms of approach/model, why has that energy not been consistently retained?.

Untied have spent £136m this summer with barely any sales.
I've never known a transfer window where the Top 4 from last season obliterates everyone else on transfers to this extent. Football changed this summer. The Champions League essentially is the Super League, which now feeds such huge wealth and resources it'll be hard to compete.

TBH, Isak saying this now might be because he’s already agreed with Liverpool and it’s just clearing a path for them to bid. I think he ends up at Liverpool.

Yep, honestly our attack is excellent regardless of Isak. If we got for him at all & he joins it’s purely a bonus, not a need. We’ll get Simons and Hato IMO, then sell a few, and our attack will be great.
Haven’t asked yet but can’t see Chelsea entering the race for Isak. They really like Delap & João Pedro and think both of them could explode. And pairing Palmer, Simons, Gittens, Estêvão, Neto, etc with them is a tantalizing idea. Not that Isak isn’t tantalizing, he is, but think.
