If that penalty in @AberdeenFC v @FCSB_ENG is a judgement of VAR interpretation then our game is a dire state. Referee gave the correct decision & needlessly got involved. Horrific decision. Shameful @AbzPodcast you have our sympathies.

In my opinion, Don deserves this game and it backs up my view that Don is currently the best Referee that we have in the country. His experience over handling several of these games in the past along with the respect he has from the players only further proves this.

Don Robertson has been given the opportunity to Referee the opening game of the new season and a game which could very well have a major impact on both clubs. With this appointment it clearly shows how highly the Scottish FA rate Don & more importantly trust him to do the job.
