It’s time we put a bit of respect on Gio’s name. What he’s achieved here - £70m in two years - has fundamentally changed our football club forever.
WE’RE BACK BABY!
It’s been revealed Ryan Kent was, last Monday, ruled out till at least after the international break. He played through the pain barrier today. The guy loves this football club and we love him right back.
I remember seeing this and a friend said ‘oh look, there’s the Rangers Manager with Steven Gerrard’. That sums it up. He is, was and forever will be THE Rangers Manager.
A word on Gio - he called office staff and workers today to thank them for all their work over the last year.
It didn’t work for him but he really is a good person. Wish him all the best in future.
Personal post if I can beg your indulgence for a moment: I’m 13 years sober today. Just a shout out to anybody struggling - it can get better.
If I can do it, anybody can. Don’t let pride or fear stop you from getting any help you need, because it’s out there.
Much love x
Conte on Rangers - they are a very good team. A real good test for us. I’m happy because it was a real game, not a friendly. That is why we chose to play against a real team in this match.
Thank you all so much for the incredible outpouring of support over the last 24 hours. It’s been truly humbling.
We have hit our highest ever subscriber figure this morning!
Still in the stadium waiting on press conferences and this place is like a morgue - PSV fans and officials are absolutely devastated. They simply did not see this coming.
A big shout to this chap. Don’t think many of us held out much hope of him turning round a slow start. Since turn of the year he’s got better and better. Learned how to be a Ranger.
We are in a genuinely dangerous place when a Government Minister will use the Police to spread a lie he knows to be false simply to generate some headlines about a football team he hates.
Celtic fans saying ‘can’t believe you’re celebrating a draw’.
We’re not. We’re celebrating winning the league, which traditionally is done in summer but as we won it before the clocks go forward we’ve got loads of games left to do it in.
That was a disgraceful performance. Whoever gets the job needs to ditch the likes of Tavernier, Goldson, Lundstram, Barisic.
If it means putting a few youngsters in, so be it.
But that had to be the end for them.
A wee reminder it’s okay to feel heartbroken and if anyone in your life doesn’t understand, don’t worry - there are hundreds of thousands of others who do.
Just arrived at stadium. Most people away but still a few round ground at bricks of loved ones, sharing a moment with those we lost along the way.
If I wasn’t in bits before, and I was, I’m absolutely gone now 💙
NOBODY else has experienced this. No other support has gone through what we have and came back.
They didn’t know the pain but they’ll never know this joy.
This is the assault on Alex Lowry and it IS an assault. A cowardly, deliberate attempt to injure a teenager because he gave him the runaround. Absolutely vile.
Luis Figo - I’d like to thank Rangers supporters for giving us all the opportunity to raise funds for my foundation. It was an honour to celebrate this magnificent club’s 150th birthday. I’m feeling very emotional.
9 points from trips to Livingston, Hibs and Hearts. Another clean sheet.
I always thought this squad was too good to keep going the way we started but didn’t realise we needed a change of manager.
In Giovanni we trust!
Today - and this week - surely put to bed any debate about our ‘best’ player. You can have a favourite, you can think someone has the highest technical level…but he is The Man.
It’s been an unforgettable 65 game season covering almost every emotion.
It’s been a pleasure to go through it with you all.
We really are the people 💙
“Growing up, I was a fan of Chelsea. So there is one pundit around here who is the worst ever player to play for Chelsea. That is why I won’t mention his name because I try to forget him.”
THURS BIN A MURDER!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😀😀😀
Michael Stewart today: “For me to be lambasted. I find that difficult to take. I find it very ironic that I get lambasted."
If he finds it difficult to take criticism for words he has chosen to say, imagine how he’d feel if he was abused merely for the colour of his skin.
Ian McCall: I don’t think Tillman realised what he was doing at the goal. I don’t bear him any ill-will. A bit of class has gone out of football in general lately but Michael Beale showed it today. It reflects very well on this football club and him as a man.
Speaking to Rangers players and management, it’s striking how much they believe they will get the job done at Ibrox.
It doesn’t really matter if anyone else believes…because they do.
3 losses in opening 7 league games, failed to get to CL, 7 points behind by end of September, booed off three home league matches in a row.
He has to go and it has to be tonight. He won’t quit so board need to step up.
Michael Owen thinks Liverpool and Man City are better than Real Madrid.
If only there was a way - perhaps some sort of competition - to help determine it.
The Record obviously decided to come after me, couldn’t find anything significant to get me on so went for two volunteer unpaid contributors to the podcast.
I think they forgot what the W in WATP stands for.
They’re going to find out.
