Have you ever followed various illegalities committed by Amateur Kabaddi Association Of India’s (AKFI). It is a total mess & needs a transparent & honest financial audit into its entire functioning. Conduct a financial audit on all NSFs & ghosts will tumble out of their closet.

But that’s not what has ever been proposed by AIFF. They have just abdicated their entire responsibility & outsourced it to one private entity which is simply impermissible. That’s the difference & definitely a huge problem. Also AIFF & FSDL couldn’t convince SC on it either

@aaryansampat @TheRahulMehra > The Bundesliga is run by the DFL under the German FA, and the Premier League is owned collectively by its 20 clubs — not a third-party private company like the ISL. ⚽️

Structurally &policy wise there’s no difference between any NSF, be it BCCI, AIFF or any other. That’s also the way Union SportsMinistry has run sports in India over the decades. Also without using one’s brains to cut copy paste international leagues to Indian system doesn’t work

SC mandated reforms have not even been allowed to be implemented, constitution has not yet been fully been amended by AIFF despite expiration of deadline to bring it in consonance with SC judgment &incorrigible AIFF awaits roll out of Sports Act 2025 to ensure business as usual.

and do away with NSFs. It’s like saying BCCI should have no say in IPL at all despite being the NSF & it should be simply left to top league sponsor or broadcaster or some JV which buys the rights and BCCI should only be concerned with the money it generates. #WarpedArgument

Anyone who thinks 100% control of a sports league needs to be outsourced completely to a Pvt Corporate entity without the parent NSF having any say in it really doesn’t know what he/she is talking. In that case why don’t we simply pledge sports administration to that Pvt entity

Huh! If this good for nothing, unprofessional, incapable lot of administrators can’t even monitise India’s 2nd most popular sport then why don’t they spare us Indians & resign or better are thrown out if they are at all accountable to the fans? If Kabaddi could so can Football.

@CapitalsLad @TheRahulMehra That's his political perspective speaking. FSDL=Reliance=Ambani=Bad. Ye baat nahi karega ye messiah ki us "existing partner" ke alawa aur koi "saviour" kyu nahi hai koi. AIFF ki apne dum aur budget pe year-round U17 Youth league karane ki bhi aukaat nahi hai vo bola nahi jayega

Yes that’s why all this is probably happening. All sports bodies are desperately waiting for Govt of India’s regressive Sports Act 2025 to come into play once it’s notified to bail them out of all the landmark judicial pronouncements including latest AIFF one. #ThenItsFree4All

Yes today there is no sports body in India whose administrative strings are not in the hands of Union Sports Minister @mansukhmandviya and this is how they have very well planned and orchestrated it through the regressive, undemocratic & draconian Sports Act 2025. #Chaubey=BJP

When I started competing, I had a small dream - to one day compete alongside the able-bodied and win medals ♥️ I didn’t make it at first, but I kept going, learning from every setback. Now, that dream is one step closer. 🌟 In the Asia Cup trials, I secured Rank 3 and will now

I have been suggesting this to all courts over the last decade to have a high level Comm of 6 heads of State or their representatives (PM & 5 CMs of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan & UP) along with CJI as the Chairperson to deal with this persisting health emergency. #DoItNow

This is the air quality in Delhi right now. You can literally taste the toxicity. Slogans of development and “viksit Bharat” mean nothing if people can’t breathe clean air. What an utter failure of governance from the centre to states who are now lying to us about the data too

There is a loud mouth journalist masquerading as a nationalist when all he is a stooge of the powers that be and whose Co. is running on their crumbs. He needs to look deeper into who he is rather than questioning those who successfully challenged the illegal MRA executed by AIFF

FIFA never objected to fresh FIFA elections of AIFF. In fact it was a desperate argument by AIFF bosses in the court that all but one of them in the executive will be ousted & only 1 year term remains so to allow them to continue which the court unfortunately gave into. It’s sad.

How ignorant can you guys be? All that the FIFA wanted was a speedy conclusion of court proceedings and implementation of the final reform process through the amended constitution which they too had agreed upon.

If this is correct then the bid document itself comes under scanner and so does KPMGs professional approach or the lack of it? This might just open gates for the existing body to get another sweetheart deal from AIFF. Only hope is the 1 man Comm overseeing this entire process

By the way, the problem isn’t the ₹37.5 crore yearly fee to AIFF in ISL tender, several parties were initially interested after seeing that figure. But once they dug into the details, they realised they’d face minimum losses of ₹200–300 crore annually, making it financially

Having said that Indian sports and its sportspersons will continue to shine despite the system and not because of it as sports is a sure short ladder for the economically backward to cone out of the vicious cycle of poverty. And we hv tremendous talent but not channelised at all.
