Completely agree. I love news papers but the forced posting does little. Transparency is about delivering clarity and the forced publishing does nothing to improve understanding. It’s just a vestige of a bygone era.

Why is #rochmn perpetuating two pools located less than two miles apart? Not equitably located for the community. For the $5M price tag, we could put a pool anywhere - so why not look? Not aligned to pop. growth, not aligned to community needs.

Prayers tonight for ROCH Century JR and YHH employee Austin Gibson. He was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma - Stage 2B a couple weeks ago. He started chemo therapy this week and was discharged today. His prognosis is survivable if all goes well. Treatment will be 6-8 months. 🙏

Perhaps worse, people reference the cycle of borrow, build, pray as a tested “strategy” that should be run back. 🚨#rochmn people running for city council spots this fall want to borrow to build and plan on future taxes to pay it back - it doesn’t work and you should reject this.
I’ve seen a lot of “go woke, go broke” about municipal finances looking bad. At its core, the issue of cities being unable to pay their expenses is driven by the growth Ponzi scheme that cuts across ideologies.
