It’s so hot on the National Mall today that we’re dreaming of sandy beach days. In 2014, there was a LOT of sand on the National Mall!.Artist Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada created a six-acre image of a young man's face from 2,300 tons of sand & 800 tons of soil.

Yesterday, we hosted the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy for a special tour and scavenger hunt on the National Mall. The Scholar Athletes visited the Lockkeeper’s House, Constitution Gardens, and met the horses at the US Park Police Stables!
