Acids and Bases Lab from BC Science Connections was a hit for Grade 10s last week. Many “Insta worthy” pictures were taken. Students use pH indicators for various unknown acids and bases to figure out where they are on the pH scale #Science10 #sciencelabs @McGrawHillK12

Grade 8 Ice Cream Lab - Great review of KMT and phase changes, and it also introduces mixtures and compounds. Add in a yummy treat for a triple threat lab activity #science #labideas @PGSS_Polars

Oil spill inquiry lab is alway a blast with 8s. Students apply density concepts to a real world example and learn about the challenges of cleaning up oil spills before they reach the shore or ocean floor #bced #landbasedlearning
