Rockets officials and agent Calvin Andrews of Klutch Sports negotiated the new deal for Okogie, who averaged a career high 1.2 steals and ranked fourth in steals per 36 minutes among players to appear in 40 games or more last season.

This is the answer to the Mavericks final two way spot.
Update: Blake Wesley agreed to a buyout with the Wizards to allow the former Spurs first-round pick to become a free agent, sources told @hoopshype. Wesley, a strong perimeter defender, shot 37% on threes in the second half last season and expects to land in a new role elsewhere.

Would be shocked if it’s anywhere but LA. Man, I would have loved adding Smart to this Mavs team… I know they don’t have the room, but he’s still got plenty to offer a contender.

I don’t know why this made me so emotional on a random Saturday morning. I miss Luka being a Maverick. He was the player I enjoyed watching the most in my entire basketball filled life. And Lively. Especially when Kathy was shown at the end of the run. Just a couple tears.

Arguably the most impressive part of Flagg’s summer league performance. In a new role handling the ball, he didn’t turn it over. Very promising stuff.
Teams use Summer League to toggle up or down rookie usage across play types. I calculated which lotto picks had the highest frequency usage in turnover-prone play-types their pre-draft year. Johnson, Harper and Flagg stand out for high-difficulty ball security with low TO rates.
