It is not just poorly constructed planning applications that Sport England have objected to, it is the countless others that have been deterred from submitting fatuous applications in the first place due to Sport England’s statutory role.

In @Guardian today our CEO Alex Welsh reflected on how playing fields will be even more endangered if the government removes @Sport_England as a statutory consultee on planning applications affecting playing fields.
