For years, Gov. Abbott and Donald Trump have tried to rig the rules and silence Texans to preserve their own power, all while John Cornyn and Ken Paxton went along with it. Today, the highest court in the land failed the American people — but this fight is far from over.

Texans work hard – which means they don’t always have time to make it to a political rally. That's why I've been traveling the state, picking up shifts and hearing from small business owners, customers, and workers across industries. Here's a few stats about where I've been:

I picked up a shift at Water Street Oyster Bar last weekend — teaming up with the staff who make this place a staple in Corpus Christi. Workers across Texas are doing everything right, but rising costs keep making it harder. This campaign is about changing that.

“Affordability.” Tough word when you’ve never had to worry about a bill in your life.
